- Born in Princeton, NJ and raised in the small town of Hillsborough, NJ, Drea worked hard at singing, songwriting, and dancing. She is a muli-talented artist who lives her life wanting to help others through music and performance. Drea has been entertaining audiences since the age of 3.
At age 7 Drea began songwriting. She has continued to write songs every day. She has written such songs as On God’s Side, Reincarnation, Good-Bye, and Live My Life. She is well-known for songwriting that compliments pop dance music.
In 1996 Drea performed for the NY Giants halftime show entertaining a crow of 76,000. That same year, Drea also began dancing at the Broadway Dance Center in Manhattan where she currently still takes classes.
While in college Drea accepted an internship at Billboard Magazine in Manhattan to work for their Special Events Department. Drea graduated in January 2003 from Montclair State University, Upper Montclair, NJ with a Bachelor of Arts.
In 2001, Drea met vocal coach Danny Madden. Under his instruction they wrote the song Reincarnation which became Drea’s debut single on MisWax Records in 2006 and has become an overnight hit. Reincarnation was remixed by the Klubjumpers, Marcelo Oleas, Conrado Martinez, Remidi and Stranger, and Dom Capello. Reincarnation charted in record pools all across the country and landed on the DJ Times chart in the summer of 06. Reincarnation the video was shot in Nutley, NJ and was directed by Freddy Espisito.
In May of 2006 Drea was back in the studio recording Free, a record she wrote in 2001. Drea has been performing all over the East Coast in 2006 with performances in Miami, Boston, Delaware, New Jersey, and New York City. In August 2006 Drea sat on the artist panel for the International DJ Times Exposition in Atlantic City, NJ.
Drea’s second single titled Free that she wrote and was remixed by Klubjumpers, De Lorean, Brian Howe, Angel Manuel, Johnny C. Free has reached the airwaves on WMPH Super 91 7, Hawaii 105, XM BPM, Sirius The Beat, and Boston’s Kiss 108.
Drea's newest single Overcome which is produced by Giusepee D. and remixed by Rooster and Perlata will be out in May 2008 on Kult Records.
Drea is extremely involved in the community preventing child abuse. Drea’s love for dance music, writing, and helping others is unforgettable.
