Jennifer Marley aka Lady of the House, attended her first event in New York during the early 90's. After that show, she knew that the Electronic world would be with her for a long time. Right away, she started to promote and put parties together in the Albany and Binghamton NY areas, as well as working with other local promoters and learning from super star DJs like Frankie Bones, Adam X, Jimmy Crash, DJ Hardware, Josh Wink, Jordan Vesteyo and many more.
Since moving to Florida in 1996, Jennifer has found that she is still in love with Electronic music. Since moving, she has found the world of Funky Breaks from the Florida DJs like Sandy, Jimmy Joslin, Debbie D and on course DJ Icey. However, still wanting the hard sounds from up north, she is able to find her own groove in the Break Beat world with Hard Old School Funky Breaks.
After getting her DJ career started in March 2001, Jennifer Marley earned herself residences quickly at local clubs like…
El Noa Noa Nightclub (Jacksonville, FL)
Producers Night Club (Melbourne, Fl)
Sanctuary Night Club (Melbourne, Fl)
City Tropics (Melbourne Beach, Fl)
Tonic Nightclub (Vero Beach)
On Tap (Melbourne, Fl) spinning both House and Breaks.
In 2006, with the help of My Space, Jennifer met up with a DJ/Producer from Boston MA, by the name of.... ChrisD'Freitas.... They became fast friends and learned that they shared the same love for the Deep Tribal Beats of NYC, like Danny Tenaglia and *69. From that, they started to work together on some track, Chris on the beats and Lady of the House on the vocals. In a short time, they had work on a half a dozen tracks, one of them, "Can U Feel Me" was picked up by DJ Mario Calegari and featured on his August 2006 CD "Keepin It Underground".

Not forgetting the music that got her hooked, Jennifer Marley is one of the few DJ's that loves to spin House and Hard Funky Breaks. "I've found out from DJing that I can make people move, and I want to keep them moving all night long. Even though I have been spinning for such a short time, I feel I have been in training since the day I fell in love with this world. My time of managing DJs, promoting events, and watching and learning from some of the best DJs in the world is starting to pay off. Electronic dance music will always be in my heart, and I want to show everyone what I love."
